About Sara Enochs

Sara Enochs graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor of science degree in Biology and a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish.

Exploring her options, she attended Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary. At Pacific Lutheran, she had the opportunity to explore the ethical and theological ramifications of the human genome initiative at the Center for Theology and Natural Sciences. Her experience introduced her to momentous philosophical questions and potential moral conflicts.

After studying the concepts of genetic engineering, Sara set her sights on molecular biology, entering the University of California, Berkeley to work on her master’s degree. After a year of graduate work, Sara decided to explore life and took time off from her studies. During that time, she met her husband, Charlie Enochs.

Sara Enochs now lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband, and four children, Charlie, James, Ben, and Ava.
